Albariño Rias Baixas 2019 Bodegas Zarate

Albariño Rias Baixas 2019 is a Spanish wine produced by the Bodegas Zarate winery. It is the entry level in the range of the historic winery, located in Rias Baixas that has been producing Albariños since the beginning of the 18th century. The grapes that make up this bottle come from 35-year-old vines planted in granite soils, which give the wine a great deal of minerality, and are processed according to organic farming principles without the use of herbicides. The grapes are harvested by hand, with careful selection carried out directly in the vineyard. After destemming and light pressing of the must, spontaneous fermentation begins in steel vats where it remains for 3 months. An Albariño with character, an entry level wine of all respect that expresses notes of citrus and white fruit on the nose and a pleasant mineral background, while in the mouth it is very fresh with subtle mineral and bitterish notes. Elegant with a long and persistent finish.
