Crozes Hermitage 2019 Natacha Chave
This fine wine from the Rhone Valley is made from 100% Syrah from vines that are about 50 years old and organically grown. In 2007 Natacha bought some vines in Crozes-Hermitage on the Chassis plain (village of Beaumont-Monteux).
Natacha tends the vineyard with organic infusions that she has made herself, to the cellar where intervention is minimal, spontaneous fermentation and bottling take place without clarification or filtration. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 14 months.
Natacha Chave's Crozes Hermitage 2020 has a beautiful intense ruby red colour with purple highlights, while the intense and structured nose offers fruity aromas of plum and cherry, floral notes, spicy and roasted coffee, for a sip balanced between body and freshness.
