Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Magnum 2009 Bertani
Bertani's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a fine red wine produced in the Valpolicella region of Veneto, Italy. The grapes used for its production are mainly Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, grown in vineyards located in the Valpolicella Classica area.
The grapes are grown using sustainable farming techniques, prioritizing the preservation of biodiversity and the reduction of environmental impact. In particular, Bertani's production philosophy is based on the enhancement of the territory of origin and respect for the characteristics of native grape varieties.
After harvesting, the grapes are dried on racks in an aerated environment for about 100 days, losing a third of their weight and concentrating sugars and aromas. Next, the grapes are crushed and undergo a long fermentation in stainless steel, with subsequent maturation in oak barrels for about 6 years.
Bertani's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico has a deep ruby red color and a complex and intense aromatic bouquet, with notes of red fruit, spices, vanilla, chocolate and hints of dark fruits. The palate is characterized by a great tannic structure, balanced by a pleasant softness and acid freshness, with a long aromatic persistence and an almondy finish.
