Arbois Chardonnay 2018 Domaine de la Pinte
Arbois Chardonnay 2018 is a French wine produced in the Jura, by Domaine de la Pinte. This region, located between Switzerland and Burgundy, has always been little valued by wine lovers, despite having extraordinary potential. Only in recent years the birth of new companies based on the production of wine according to biodynamic and natural methods, is leading to a re-evaluation of the territory. The Domaine de la Pinte is one of those realities, which has chosen a sustainable approach with minimal intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar, for the production of straightforward bottles, which reflect the terroir and have an excellent quality-price ratio. This Arbois Chardonnay 2018 is a fine example of the region's Chardonnay, from vineyards located at 400 m high on the particular soils of blue marl with the presence of clays and fossils. Delicate straw yellow color, it expresses on the nose an intense and pungent aromatic set of wild herbs, mountain flowers, apple and mineral notes, citrus scents. The sip is fresh, direct, quite persistent. It is pure Jura in the glass.
