Arbois Vignes de 1983 2022 Domaine de La Renardiere
Arbois Vignes de 1983 from Domaine de La Renardiere is a refined expression of Jura winemaking artistry. Crafted from the "ploussard" or "poulsard" grape, cultivated with meticulous organic and biodynamic methods, it embodies the identity of the Pupillin terroir.
In the cellar, the winemaking process, guided by indigenous yeasts, aims to create a wholesome and authentic wine, matured in wood. Recommended for at least three years from the harvest, it reveals a captivating ruby red hue and presents an aromatic bouquet of small red fruits, spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, with a silky texture. Domaine de La Renardiere, established in 1990 by Jean-Michel and Laurence Petit, manages a 7-hectare vineyard in Pupillin, at the heart of Arbois in Jura. Certified organic since 2012, the domaine embraces biodynamic practices.
This cuvée comes from old Poulsard vines planted in 1983 by Louis, Jean-Michel's father, embodying the work of three generations: Jean-Michel's cultivation and his son Leo's winemaking.
