Trebbiano Spoletino Arboreus 2018 Paolo Bea
This intriguing Trebbiano Spoletino Arboreus comes to us from the eclectic producer Paolo Bea, located in Umbria near Montefalco. The grapes come from over forty-year-old vineyards still interspersed with olive trees, located at 200m above sea level. The management is organic, with the utmost respect for natural cycles.
The harvest is strictly manual, no sulphites are added in the cellar. After a slow spontaneous fermentation, the wine matures for 2 years in steel, on the yeasts for over 200 days.
The result is a wine with a surprising amber yellow color. On the nose a triumph of aromas of ripe fruit, citrus, honey and spices. In the mouth it is velvety and vibrant, with a savory freshness and a persistent finish. An authentic expression of the grape variety and terroir from which it comes.
