Auxey Duresses 1er Cru 2019 is a fine red wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Taupenot Merme.
It is made from the blend of two different plots owned by Domaine Taupenot-Merme, resulting in a bottle with a clearly mineral imprint, accompanied by delicate hints of red fruits, balanced on the palate, but perhaps still needing a few more years in the bottle to express itself at its best.
The pinot noir grapes are grown according to organic farming principles, and after vinification are left to age in 30% new oak for between 12 and 14 months. A very special bottle, with an incredible value for money.

VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts with maceration for 18-23 days in contact with the skins in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Maturation of 12-14 months in 30% new oak barrels.
