Tenuta Carretta's Barbaresco Riserva Cascina Bordino is a highly prestigious red wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy. The grapes used for its production are 100% Nebbiolo, grown in vineyards located in the Barbaresco area, specifically in the Cascina Bordino area.

The grapes are grown using sustainable farming techniques that prioritize the preservation of biodiversity and the reduction of environmental impact. In particular, Tenuta Carretta is committed to integrated vine disease management, using only natural and organic products for plant defense.

Tenuta Carretta's production philosophy is based on enhancing the terroir of origin and respecting the characteristics of the Nebbiolo grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and undergo fermentation in stainless steel, with subsequent maturation in oak barrels for about 36 months.

Tenuta Carretta's Barbaresco Riserva Cascina Bordino has a deep garnet red color and a complex and intense aromatic bouquet, with notes of red fruit, spices, tobacco and chocolate. The palate is characterized by a great tannic structure, balanced by a pleasant softness and acid freshness, with a long aromatic persistence.
