Ada Nada Barbaresco Elisa 2006
The Barbaresco Elisa 2006 by Ada Nada is a noble and complex wine, showcasing the authentic expression of Nebbiolo grown in the prestigious Rombone subzone, in Treiso, at the heart of Langhe. The vineyard lies on marine-origin calcareous marl, slightly clayey, at an altitude of 200-350 meters above sea level, with a south-facing exposure.
The hand-picked harvest, conducted between the second and third decades of October, ensures careful grape selection. Vinification takes place in stainless steel, with a maceration lasting approximately 10 days and frequent pump-overs to extract aromas and structure. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 18-20 months in large oak barrels, followed by a further 6-8 months in the bottle.
The result is a Barbaresco of remarkable elegance, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate, it is balanced and persistent, with velvety tannins and a long finish.
