"Rio Sordo" Barbaresco Riserva 2019 is a fine red wine produced by Produttori del Barbaresco. It is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the "Rio Sordo" vineyard, which gives wines with more warmth and texture, and more evident fruit.

This 2019 Barbaresco Rio Sordo has a bright garnet red color with ruby reflections. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruit, including cherry, black cherry, plum and black currant, notes of dried flowers, spicy hints of licorice, tobacco and a light balsamic trail. In the mouth it is full, but elegant and enveloping. Personality and great depth for this Barbaresco, perfect to drink immediately or to be kept for a few years in the cellar.

Cantina Cooperativa dei Produttori del Barbaresco is the historical winery of the homonymous Piedmontese town of Barbaresco, founded in 1958 thanks to Don Fiorino Marengo. Today the Cooperativa dei Produttori del Barbaresco winery has 50 members with about 110 hectares of vineyards in Barolo in the 9 best crus of the denomination: Asili, Muncagota, Pora, Rabaja, Ovello, Montestefano, Montefico, Rio Sordo and Pajé; every year a bottle of Barbaresco Riserva per Cru, a Barbaresco Docg from the union of the 9 crus and a Langhe Nebbiolo are produced.
