Boasso Barolo 2006
The Barolo by Boasso Winery is a pinnacle of Nebbiolo, widely acclaimed as the "King of Wines." Made from hand-selected grapes grown in the estate's vineyards, this wine showcases a deep garnet red color with orange reflections, a hallmark of Barolo.
The winemaking process begins with soft pressing and destemming, followed by traditional fermentation with floating cap. The 15-20 day maceration at controlled temperatures occurs in stainless steel tanks with frequent manual pump-overs, ensuring optimal extraction of flavors and structure.
The wine is aged for at least 38 months, with 18 months in oak barrels, imparting elegant woody notes and refined tannins. On the nose, it reveals an intense and characteristic aroma, while the palate offers fullness, velvety texture, and harmonious balance. Perfectly paired with red meats, roasts, and game, this Barolo embodies tradition and excellence.
