Barolo Meriame 2016 Manzone
Manzone's Barolo Meriame 2016 is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the commune of Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe. Fermentation takes place in conical steel vats, while the wine is aged for 24 months partly in large Slavonian oak casks and partly in French oak tonneaux.
Paolo Manzone's Barolo Meriame is an intense garnet red wine with orange highlights. The nose has a floral and fruity bouquet with hints of dog rose and violet, together with notes of dried fruit.
The taste is complex and structured, with silky but present tannins. This wine is aged for 24 months partly in large Slavonian oak casks and the rest in French oak tonneaux.
