Barolo 2016 Luigi Oddero
Barolo 2016 is one of the finest wines of Luigi Oddero's range. It is the base Barolo of the range, very representative, a cuvée obtained by Nebbiolo grapes coming from three different communes such as La Morra, Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba.
The fusion of Helvetian and Tortonian soils gives life to a wine extremely balanced between elegance and structure. The grapes are vinified separately according to the areas from which they come, fermented in large steel and/or cement tanks for a period of one year, and then proceeded, again separately, to the refinement and aging in large French oak barrels.
Subsequently, it rests for a further 12 months in bottle before being released on the market. Luigi Oddero's Barolo expresses characteristic aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, licorice, for a balanced and full bodied and persistent sip.
