Barolo Brunate Magnum 2017 Vietti
Vietti's Brunate is a Barolo that comes from one of the best and historic cru of the Langhe, which gives its name to the label. Pure Nebbiolo grapes obtained from vines about 45 years old, grown in the Brunate vineyard on a soil of limestone and clay with southern exposure in the commune of La Morra.
Once harvested, the grapes are cold macerated for 4 days before alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks for 18 days at 30/32° C. The wine thus obtained is then aged in oak casks and barriques for 30 months, at the end of which it is bottled without any filtration.
Vietti Brunate is a regal wine, with a beautiful, intense and deep garnet colour in the glass. The nose is a whirlwind of notes and aromas typical of Barolo, violets, plums, spices and an ethereal finish. In the mouth it is full-bodied and powerful, refined and balanced, with a very long finish that seems never-ending.
