Barolo Castiglione 2011 Vietti
Barolo Castiglione 2011 is a fine Italian wine produced by Vietti. It is a historic company from Piedmont, one of the first to make bottles from individual crus to enhance the differences of the territory, while continuing to make assembly wines, as in the case of this Barolo Castiglione, with a great balance and harmony. This label comes from grapes from different vineyards of the estate, which have an average age between 8 and 40 years and enjoy slightly different microclimates and soils, and of which each parcel is vinified separately and subsequently assembled. The wine ages for about 24 months in large barrels and oak barriques. It shows a ruby red color with garnet reflections; the nose expresses hints of dried flowers, small berries, spices and tea aroma. In the mouth it is refined and balanced, with silky tannins, it closes in a long fresh sip.
