Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2018 Trediberri
It is only with Nebbiolo grapes from the commune of La Morra that this Barolo from the Trediberri winery, a young company founded in 2007, can be produced. The Barolo del Comune di La Morra is obtained with an alcoholic fermentation in cement for about two weeks and another week of maceration. After racking, malolactic fermentation is carried out in wood, followed by 20 months of ageing in large casks. Another short period in cement, steel or fibreglass completes the production.
The Barolo del Comune di La Morra from the Trediberri cellar is a brilliant garnet colour in the glass, accompanied by a bouquet of truffle scents mingling with dried flowers, liquorice and tobacco. In the mouth it is robust and structured with an important tannic texture typical of the variety.
