Barolo Parussi 2017 Massolino
Massolino's Barolo "Parussi" is a fine wine from Piedmont, made from top-quality Nebbiolo grapes grown in the vineyards of the Cru Parussi, at an altitude of about 300 metres, on calcareous-clayey soils containing sand. The fermentation takes place in steel containers with a maceration on the skins of 2 or 3 weeks, then the refinement takes place for at least 30 months in French oak barrels plus 12 months in bottle. It has a garnet red colour, and expresses on the nose elegant scents of aromatic herbs, liquorice root, small red berries and delicate spices. The taste is well structured and tannic for a long, deep sip that ends in a long, refreshing finish.
