Barolo Ravera 2017 Paolo Scavino
The Nebbiolo grapes used to make this Barolo 2017 come from the Ravera cru located in the commune of Novello and which Paolo Scavino has been cultivating since 2015.
A valuable terroir that, together with the talent and passion for their land, for the slow rhythms and the ancient farming traditions that Paolo Scavino winery has always respected, give life to this Piedmontese red wine of great value and personality.
The grapes ferment for 29 days with maceration on the skins, followed by maturation in large barrels for two years plus 12 months of bottle aging before release.
Paolo Scavino's Barolo Ravera 2017 is a structured wine with character, not particularly austere and with a wide and persistent sip, while the nose offers a multifaceted bouquet of flowers such as violet, red fruits (blackberry, raspberry and cherry), and then spices and balsamic notes.
