Barolo Barolo Rocche Rivera 2004 Luigi Oddero
Barolo Rocche Rivera is one of the finest wines of Luigi Oddero's range. Nebbiolo grapes come from the homonymous vineyard of 3 hectares of vineyards located in Castiglione Falletto, facing south at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level, and with an annual production of about 9,000 bottles.
Refining and aging take place in large French oak barrels for a minimum period of 36 months, after which the wine is bottled and left to rest in bottle for two years before being released on the market.
Deep garnet red in color, this Barolo Rocche Rivera expresses a very characteristic and intense bouquet on the nose, made of sweet spices, berries, dried grass, balsamic notes of licorice. The taste is smooth and enveloping, structured and persistent.
