Barolo Vignarionda 2006 Oddero
Barolo Vignarionda 2006 by Oddero is an iconic expression of this prestigious Serralunga d’Alba cru. Sourced from vineyards at 360 meters above sea level with full southern exposure, this Nebbiolo stands out for its powerful structure and exceptional aging potential.
Hand-harvested in mid-October, the grapes undergo a meticulous selection before fermentation in 50 hl tanks, with maceration on the skins for 25-28 days. The wine is then aged for 40 months in Austrian oak barrels, followed by additional bottle aging in a temperature-controlled cellar.
The result is a Barolo with an intense, deep garnet-ruby color and a complex bouquet featuring dark berries, citrus, and floral rose notes, alongside balsamic hints of tobacco, licorice, and cinchona. The palate is powerful and structured, with firm tannins, vibrant freshness, and outstanding persistence. A wine of great elegance, built for long-term aging.
