Sacravite 2018 D'angelo
Sacravite 2018 is an Italian red wine from the Basilicata region produced by D'Angelo. Made from 100% Aglianico grapes, it has the same blend of Aglianico del Vulture, it undergoes the same fermentation technique with maceration for 8 days, but with a short aging in traditional wooden barrels. The result is an equally interesting and characterful wine, which reflects the characteristics of the terroir, but lighter and less structured than Aglianico del Vulture, in fact this bottle is not a DOC, but is found under the name Basilicata IGT. Sacravite is in fact a very fruity and lively wine, intense and full-bodied, with a simpler sip and a tannin present but less evident. In the mouth it already has a beautiful harmony and drinkability that make it pleasant even to drink immediately, or to be stored in the cellar for up to 4-5 years. Pairing with cold cuts, first courses and second courses with meat.
