Bianco 2012 Chateau Musar
White 2012 is a white wine from Lebanon produced using natural methods by Chateau Musar. It is made from a blend of old white grapes, Obaideh and Merwah, about 70 years old, whose vineyards have very low yields and are cultivated organically, without any use of chemicals.
After destemming and soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments spontaneously in steel and in barriques (20% new), where malolactic fermentation also takes place. Finally, the wine is aged 6 months in barrique, 2 months in steel and 48 months in bottle.
Château Musar's white wine has an intense golden yellow colour, while the nose captivates with a deep and enveloping bouquet of exotic fruit and citrus fruits. The taste is balanced between structure and freshness.
