Bianco 2016 Chateau Musar
Gaston Hochar's Chateau Musar White 2016 is a white wine produced in the Bekaa Valley region of Lebanon. The grapes used to produce this wine are mainly the native Lebanese grapes, namely Obeidi and Merwah, which are grown on limestone and clay soils.
The vines that produce these grapes are grown using sustainable farming techniques, without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Harvesting is done by hand to ensure the quality of the grapes.
After harvest, the grapes are taken to the winery where they are gently pressed to extract the must. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where the wine is left to mature for about nine months before bottling.
Chateau Musar White is bright golden yellow in color and has an intense and complex aroma, with hints of ripe fruit, citrus, honey and exotic spices. The palate is full and structured, with a pleasant freshness and long aromatic persistence.
