Blanc 2018 Domaine de La Grange de Peres
The Blanc wine of Domaine de La Grange de Peres is a fine white wine produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. The grapes used to produce this wine come from vineyards located on clay and limestone soils at an altitude of approximately 200 metres above sea level.
The winegrowing techniques used are those of organic and biodynamic agriculture, which involve the use of natural methods to care for the vines and soil, without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilisers. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected to ensure maximum quality.
As for vinification, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured for about six months on the fine lees, which gives the wine aromatic complexity and an elegant structure.
The end result is a Blanc wine with a brilliant straw colour with golden highlights. The nose reveals intense aromas of tropical fruit, citrus fruits and white flowers, accompanied by notes of vanilla and sweet spices. The palate is fresh and lively, with pleasant acidity and a harmonious structure. The wine pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish dishes, as well as with mature cheeses and white meats.
