Blanc BBT 2022 is an authentic expression of the Terra Alta terroir, crafted by the visionary winemaker Laureano Serres Montagut. This white wine is a blend primarily composed of Garnacha Blanca (90%) and a small percentage of Macabeo (10%), sourced from a young vineyard aged 7 years, located over 500 meters above sea level in the municipality of Vilalba del Arcs.
The vinification process of Blanc BBT 2022 involves direct pressing of the grapes followed by a 15-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in the same tanks until January 2023, ensuring a fresh, balanced, and genuine wine. A unique feature of this wine is the use of a crown cap for bottling and the complete absence of added sulfur, highlighting the purity and integrity of the grapes.
Laureano Serres Montagut is a legendary figure in the Catalan wine scene, known for his pioneering spirit and commitment to reviving local winemaking traditions. His winery in El Pinell de Brai is the vibrant heart of a lively wine community, often associated with major events such as the Brutal Wine Corporation and the H20 Vegetal fair.
