Blauburgunder 2018 Meinklang
Blauburgunder 2018 is an Austrian natural wine produced by the Meinklang winery. It is based on Blaufränkisch, an Austrian autochthonous grape worked according to principles of biodynamic agriculture: the must ferments spontaneously with autochthonous yeasts, with a 2-week maceration on the skins, and subsequently ages partly in used oak barrels and partly in steel. The Blauburgunder is ruby red in color; The nose shows a bouquet of red fruit, pepper and smoked notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied and structured, at the beginning it is soft, then it brings out the hardnesses such as acidity and tannin, which are however in balance. An interesting wine with a great personality.
