Bordeaux Cotes de France "Emilien"2015 Château Le Puy
Château Le Puy's 2015 Bordeaux Cotes de France "Emilien" is a red wine from Bordeaux made using natural methods. It is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Carménère from vines about 30 years old growing on a clay-siliceous matrix soil with limestone subsoil. An authentic, intense and aromatic red wine capable of blending richness and freshness, concentration and elegance, tannin and smoothness. This Bordeaux Cotes de France "Emilien "2015 from Château Le Puy ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts with submerged cap maceration on the skins for 2-4 weeks in open cement vats, then ages in large barrels and used barriques for 24 months. It expresses a very intense nose of red fruits and spices, for a powerful yet refined, long and persistent sip.
