Bourgogne Aligoté Le Clou et la Plume 2019 Agnes Paquet
Bourgogne Aligoté Le Clou et la Plume 2019 is a white wine from Burgundy produced by Agnes Paquet. This label stems from Agnes' desire to enhance the Aligoté grape variety, a variety that has long been criticised for its lack of complexity compared to its older brother Chardonnay.
This bottle demonstrates that, if properly cared for and processed, this grape variety is capable of expressing great qualities of elegance, fruit and complexity. This wine takes its name from the two plots from which the grapes come: "Les Plumes", located in the commune of Meursault with predominantly clayey soil, and "le Clou" in the commune of Melosisey, near Hautes Cotes de Beaune, from very young vines growing on limestone soil.
Paquet's Bourgogne Aligoté blends the characteristics of both terroirs, revealing structure and elegance at the same time.
