Bourgogne Aligoté “Les Cerisiers” 2022 Jérémy Recchione
Jérémy Recchione is among the new-generation winemakers reviving Aligoté, bringing fresh energy to this native Burgundian grape. “Les Cerisiers” 2022 comes from a plot in Messanges, Haute Côte de Nuits, marking Recchione’s first independent vineyard acquisition.
This Aligoté is crafted with a low-intervention approach: the grapes undergo five days of skin maceration before aging for eight months in 400L Clayver ceramic vats. The only addition is a minimal dose of sulfur after malolactic fermentation, preserving the wine’s authenticity.
On the palate, it stands out for its density and freshness, offering a remarkable balance of structure and minerality. A deep, expressive Aligoté that showcases both power and finesse.
