Bourgogne Blanc 2016 Jean Philippe Fichet
Bourgogne Blanc 2016 is a fine wine produced by the Domaine Philippe Fichet. It is made from a mix of Chardonnay grapes that come from three vines planted on clayey-limestone soils and located in the so-called "Les Dressoles" (north side of Meursault) and "les Grands Clous Perrons" and "Grandes Coutures" on the south side of Meursault. The soil on which the plants grow is of clayey-limestone matrix and deep assiz. This Bourgogne Blanc from Fichet shows a bright straw yellow color. The nose reveals hints of fresh white flowers and elegant aromas of fresh yellow fruit. Excellent to drink immediately, however good aging potential and good acidity. In the mouth it is balanced and quite persistent, a respectable entry level.
