Bourgogne Blanc Hautes Côte de Beaune 2019 Agnès Paquet
The 2019 Bourgogne Blanc Hautes Côtes de Beaune is an interesting version of a white Burgundy wine produced by the talented producer Agnès Paquet, the courageous girl who decided to change her life and dedicate herself to cultivating the vineyard owned by her family since the 1950s.
Of the Domaine's total 13 hectares of vineyards, this Bourgogne Blanc Hautes Côtes de Beaune stands out. Its Chardonnay grapes come from two parcels in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune on clay-limestone soils: a young parcel called 'La Lie' in the commune of Meloisey and the other forty years old in the commune of Baubigny Baubigny, called 'Sous Le Château'.
This wine undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in 456-litre barrels, where it remains to age for 10 months, followed by 2 months in steel tanks before bottling.
The Bourgogne Blanc Hautes Côtes de Beaune seduces with its bright straw yellow colour. The delicate nose offers hints of white flowers, peach and vanilla, for an elegant and fresh, harmonious sip.
