Bourgogne Blanc "Les Boutières" 2021 Petit Roy
Petit Roy's Bourgogne Blanc Les Boutières wine is a white wine produced in the Burgundy region of France. The Chardonnay grapes used to make this wine come from the lieu-dit Aux Boutières, in the commune of Savigny-Les-Beaune.
The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable viticulture techniques and the grapes are harvested by hand. In the winery, the must ferments in French oak barrels where it remains on the lees for 8-10 months with regular battonage.
The wine has a brilliant straw yellow color with greenish highlights. A complex bouquet emerges on the nose with hints of golden apple, tropical fruit, butter, vanilla and a slight hint of oak. In the mouth the wine is rich and creamy, with good acidity and a long persistence. The prevailing flavor is that of ripe white fruit, accompanied by a pleasant minerality and a slightly toasty finish.
Bourgogne Blanc Les Boutières is a dry but very harmonious white wine that can be paired with fish dishes such as salmon, sea bass or mussels, but also with medium-aged cheeses such as Brie. Its elegant and refined style also makes it suitable as an aperitif.
