Bourgogne Chardonnay 2019 Domaine Rapet
Bourgogne Chardonnay 2019 is a white wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Rapet. It is the company's basic white, made from the most widely produced white grape variety, Chardonnay, from the different areas owned by the domaine: Pernand - Vergelesses, Savigny les Beaune, Aloxe, Corton and Beaune.
An entry level wine of all respect, it is cultivated according to the winery's principles of seeking the fullness of the fruit without losing its freshness, with a very calibrated use of wood to prevent it from prevailing over the authentic taste of the grape, which is why it was decided to mature the wine in steel and wood in equal parts, without the use of new barrels.
Cultivated according to the principles of sustainable viticulture in full respect of the terroir, this 2019 Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Rapet is a fruity and generous wine that expresses a bouquet of white fruit, lime blossom, acacia honey, dried fruit, star anise and lime on the nose. The sip is juicy and fruity, generous with a nice, slightly spicy length.
