Bourgogne Cote d'Or 2019 Jean Fournier
The 2019 Bourgogne Cote d'Or is a red wine from Burgundy produced using natural methods by Domaine Jean Fournier.
It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from young, east-facing vines owned by the Domaine that are about 20 years old. The soil is characterized by marl and pebbles and vineyards are cultivated according to organic farming principles.
So obtained a maceration with cold pre-fermentation for about 4 days, with light pumping over and punching down during fermentation (about 15 days). The following aging takes place in oak casks of 500 liters for 12 months. Bottling is done after a light filtration, respecting the rhythms of the moon.
On the nose the wine expresses fresh aromas of red fruits and flowers, for a lively but soft, balanced and persistent sip.
