Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune "Orchis Mascula" 2018 is a fine Burgundy wine produced using natural methods by Domaine Henri Naudin Ferrand. This cuvée is the expression of several plots with high quality potential: good exposure good plant material, excellent harvest quality.
This led to opting for an alternative vinification method which, according to the winery, allows the maximum expression of the Pinot Noir grape variety: vinification is carried out in whole bunches. After intracellular fermentation, the wine is placed in barrels, 5% of which are new, by gravity and without aeration, where it remains to mature on the lees until bottling.
The 2018 Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune "Orchis Mascula" has an intense ruby red colour, and on the nose it offers a complex nose of fresh cherries, roses and spices, for a sip that is a little pungent on the attack but with good depth, which overall gives a harmonious wine, very pleasant to drink, elegant.
