Bourgogne Passetoutgrain 2018 Thierry Mortet

Bourgogne Passetoutgrain 2018 is a fine wine produced by Thierry Mortet. It is a cuvée obtained from 60% Gamay and 40% Pinot Noir, which presents itself at the sight of a beautiful garnet color with bright reflections; the nose expresses the typical hint of violet of the Gamay, together with intense aromas of fruit such as black currant, cherry, strawberry. In the mouth it is full-bodied, round, with a nice shoulder acidity. A very drinkable and pleasant wine to combine with pasta dishes, or meat dishes.

Thierry Mortet is a Domaine founded in 1992 and is located in the centre of the village of Gevrey-Chambertin in the north of the wine coast, the Cotes de Nuits, between Dijon and Nuits-Saint-Georges. In 2007, the winery converted to BIO agriculture for the production of powerful, elegant wines that are faithful to the terroir.
