Bourgogne Passetoutgrain 2019 Jeremy Recchione
The Bourgogne Passetoutgrain 2019 is a red wine made from Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes by Domaine Jeremy Recchione. The Pinot Noir vines have an average age of 35 years and are grown on clay and limestone soils, while the Gamay vines are on more gravelly soils.
Jeremy Recchione follows the principles of organic viticulture, with extremely low yields and careful manual selection of the grapes. After destemming, the grapes ferment separately in open wooden tanks using only indigenous yeasts. Final blending takes place after a brief passage in used French oak barrels.
The Bourgogne Passetoutgrain 2019 is a bright ruby-colored wine with purple highlights. The nose has intense aromas of cherry, raspberry and spicy notes of black pepper. In the mouth it is fresh, harmonious and fruity, with soft tannins and good persistence. It pairs perfectly with dishes such as roast beef, cured meats and cheeses.
