Brouilly "Chateau Cambon" 2021 Marcel Lapierre
Brouilly "Chateau Cambon" 2021 is a Beaujolais red wine produced by Marcel Lapierre according to natural methods. It is made from pure Gamay grapes grown in a vineyard of 2 hectares in Beaujolais, from 55 year old vines cultivated according to biodynamic farming principles on acidic and poor sandy-granitic soils.
The harvest is manual, the fermentation, preceded by carbonic maceration, is spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts and takes place in stainless steel tanks for 10-20 days. The wine ages for about nine months in used oak casks before bottling, without adding any sulfite.
Domaine Marcel Lapierre's Brouilly 2021 shows at sight an intense ruby red color; on the nose it expresses a fruity bouquet of cherry, notes of wet grass and earth, for a fresh and pleasing sip. Another very expressive and territorial label produced by a historical Beaujolais winery.
