Descombes' Brouilly Vieille Vignes 2019 is a red wine from Beujolais, Burgundy, produced using natural methods. Brouilly is the largest and southernmost AOC in the Beujolais, often overshadowed by the more famous Morgon, Fleury and Moulin à Vent.

In reality, this area produces an excellent Gamay, characterised by an important fruit and great drinking pleasure. All of Descombes' Vieille Vignes age longer in the cellar than their normal counterparts, which increases their depth and susceptibility to ageing.

These characteristics combine with the freshness and pleasantness of this wine, ensuring a fantastic harmony. Descombes' Vieille Vignes Brouilly 2019 presents itself in the glass with a ruby red colour of medium depth, while the nose expresses intense aromas of fresh red fruits and floral notes of rose and violet. The sip is deep and silky, very pleasant, with the fruity and floral returns that we had perceived on the nose.
