Brunello di Montalcino 2017 Capanna
Brunello di Montalcino is a classic and elegant expression of the territory of Montosoli, in Montalcino, where fresh and refined wines are produced. Capanna winery is a reference point in Italy and abroad when it comes to Brunello di Montalcino: for the production of this label, pure Sangiovese grapes are used, cultivated with great care and minimal yields in the search for maximum quality.
The must ferments at a controlled temperature in Slavonian oak barrels with maceration on the skins for about 30 days, and then matures in large Slavonian oak barrels for 40 days plus a period of refinement in the bottle before being put on the market.
Brunello di Montalcino Capanna has an intense ruby red colour with garnet highlights, while the nose offers an intense and complex bouquet of ripe red fruit such as cherry and blackberry, floral notes, underbrush and spices. The taste is structured and persistent but characterised by good freshness and sapidity.
