Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2006 Biondi Santi
The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Biondi Santi is a dry red wine produced in the Montalcino area of Tuscany. It is made from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, which are hand-picked and undergo a long fermentation and aging process in oak barrels. The Riserva is only produced in the best vintages and has a minimum aging period of five years, of which at least three are spent in wooden barrels and two in the bottle. The wine has an intense red color and a complex aroma of berries, spices, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and structured, with a long finish and a firm but soft tannin. The Biondi Santi Riserva is considered one of the most prestigious labels of Brunello di Montalcino.
