Chablis Terroir de Fyé 2022 Patrick Piuze
Chablis Terroir de Fyé 2022 is a fine white wine produced by Patrick Piuze. Piuze has revealed himself to be one of the most skilful and distinctive debut producers in Chablis: faithful to the characteristics of the terroir, he produces pure and authentic wines that represent all the different terroirs of the area.
The grapes come from a 2.5 hectare (6.4 acre) vineyard in the part of the village of Chapelot that surrounds a small château visible from the top of the Grand Cru hill. This vineyard is located just opposite Blanchots, within the original historical boundaries of the AOC Chablis. The soil is composed of 100% Kimmeridgian limestone with a little more clay than in other areas of Chablis.
Chablis Terroir de Fyé 2022 Patrick Piuze expresses itself in the glass with refined aromas of apple, lemon, notes of chalky earth, white flowers and a touch of beeswax. On the palate, the wine is pure, full-bodied, crisp, with a nice concentration of fruit, great freshness and impressive length.
