Champagne Ambonnay Reserve Andre Beaufort
The Ambonnay Reserve is a fine Champagne produced by Beaufort. It is obtained from a blend with a prevalence of Pinot Noir and then Chardonnay, coming from the Cru Ambonnay in the heart of the Montagne di Reims.
This Champagne is produced with artisanal methods: the refermentation takes place spontaneously, the malolactic fermentation takes place to reduce the quantity of sulphur dioxide and then the re-fermentation in the typical bottle, the disgorging is carried out rigorously at the volley, with dosage before bottling and a rest of at least 24 months on the yeasts.
André Beaufort's Brut Reserve Ambonnay shows an intense straw yellow colour in the glass and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses a bouquet composed of aromas of orange peel, hazelnut, small red fruits and mineral notes. The sip is rich and creamy, balanced however by an intense flavour and freshness. A very interesting Champagne with a pleasant and tasty drinking experience.
