Champagne Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Brut Cuvée du Goulté 2014 Marie Noelle Ledru
Cuvée du Goulté is one of the world's most sought-after fine champagnes, an elegant and refined French bubble produced only in the best vintages by Marie Noelle Ledru, the "Lady of the Pinot Noir".
Champagne Blanc de Noirs Cuvée du Goulté comes from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the village of Ambonnay by the Maison Ledru, a small artisan company that works in the vineyard without chemical interventions despite the lack of certification.
The Cuvée Goulté champagne is produced with a first fermentation in large steel tanks where the wines will rest for a few months before being assembled in cuvée, the second fermentation takes place, according to the Champenoise method, in the bottle with a stay on the lees of at least 60 months.
In the glass this great champagne shows a light yellow colour, with a fine and very persistent perlage, the nose is a riot of pastries, bread crust, fruity notes and hints of mineral flint. In the mouth it is long and deep with a disarming complexity, the finish is very long with fresh and savoury notes.
