Adrien Renoir Champagne Le Terroir
Champagne Le Terroir by Adrien Renoir is a true expression of the Grand Cru of Verzy, located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Made from a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir from vineyards over 50 years old, it thrives on clay-limestone soils, imparting depth and complexity to the wine.
The vinification process follows an artisanal, low-intervention approach: spontaneous fermentation occurs in oak barrels for 20% of the cuvée, while 80% is vinified in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures on the lees for about 24 months, with an Extra Brut dosage to maintain the pure essence of the terroir.
In the glass, it displays a bright yellow hue with golden reflections. The nose reveals elegant aromas of white flowers, honey, crisp fruit, and citrus hints. On the palate, it is fresh, creamy, and savory, with brioche and toasted notes beautifully balanced by the vibrant zest of lemon and grapefruit.
A refined champagne, perfect with tuna tartare with lime and soy sauce or wild boar carpaccio with truffle mousse and Piedmont hazelnuts.
