Champagne Les Beurys Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs 2014 Eric Rodez
Eric Rodez's 2014 vintage "Les Beurys" Champagne is obtained by bottle re-fermentation of 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the Grand Cru terroir of Ambonnay, in particular from a small plot called Beurys from the vineyard that Éric Rodez owns in this terroir, from 39-year-old vines.
The base wine was vinified entirely in small oak barrels without malolactic fermentation, followed by re-fermentation in the bottle according to the dictates of the Champenoise method.
The colour of Champagne Les Beurys Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs 2014 from Rodez is brilliant gold, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose and mouth complement each other harmoniously with fragrances and flavours of red fruits such as wild strawberry, blueberry or redcurrant, while expressing subtle touches of grey or white pepper spices with a remarkable oak finish enriched by hints of vanilla.
