Les Rachais 2013 Francis Boulard
Les Rachais is a Champagne produced using ancient artisanal methods by the Maison Francis Boulard. The Chardonnay grapes used to produce this Champagne are grown according to organic and biodynamic viticultural methods on the slopes of the Petite Montaigne de Reims.
Ageing in wood and resting for 60 months on the lees contribute to the complexity and depth of this Champagne, which has become famous, along with the Maison's other labels, among connoisseurs and fans of artisanal champagnes.
Champagne Les Rachais in the glass is an elegant intense straw yellow with a very fine but persistent perlage, the nose is rich in aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and dried fruit with slight oxidative tones.
In the mouth it is taut and energetic, harmonious and creamy with a fresh and savoury finish. A Champagne for connoisseurs.
