Description

Champagne Rosè de Saignee Fleury

Rosé de Saignee is a fine Champagne produced according to natural methods by Fleury. It is made from pure Pinot Noir grapes, from vineyards cultivated biodynamically in the Cote Des Bars area, on limestone-clay soil. The grapes are harvested by hand, with careful selection of the best grapes, then fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in enamelled vats. After the base wines have been blended, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise method, and the wine then matures for around 60 months on the lees in the bottle. Fleury's Champagne Rosé Brut has a luminous pink colour due to the long maceration of the Pinot Noir, with copper highlights and a fine, persistent bubble. The nose expresses mouth-watering notes of wild strawberry, citrus, rose petals and apple, for a fresh and pleasant sip.
