Champagne Sapience 2009 Marguet
The Champagne Sapience 2009 Extra Brut is the result of a collaboration among Benoit Marguet, Benoit Lahaye, Vincent Laval, and David Leclapart. This biodynamic Champagne harmoniously blends Leclapart's chardonnay, Laval's pinot meunier, and Lahaye's pinot noir, expertly vinified in Marguet's cellar. After maturing for 62 months on lees and no dosage, it emerges as a benchmark.
Following strict biodynamic viticulture principles, this AOC Champagne embodies the essence of the three Champagne grape varieties: pinot noir, pinot meunier, and chardonnay. The masterfully crafted blend results in a complete, imposing, and highly refined wine suitable for any moment in a meal.
The bright straw-yellow color anticipates a complex and intense bouquet with notes of ripe fruit, citrus, toasty nuances, candied hints, and earthiness. In the mouth, the wine reveals richness and structure, with excellent final acidity supported by a particularly low sugar dosage.
Ideal with refined dishes such as salt-crusted monkfish with mint leaves, passion fruit mousse, and grapefruit. A gastronomic experience of rare sophistication.
