Champagne Rosé "Shaman" 20 Marguet
The Champagne Rosé "Shaman" 20 by Marguet is an elegant and complex Brut Nature that showcases the quality of the Grand Cru vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, especially those of Ambonnay and Bouzy. Made primarily from Pinot Noir, with a small percentage of Chardonnay, this Champagne reflects the story of a young and dynamic winery, founded in 2008 by Benoît Marguet with a biodynamic approach and a unique vision of the terroir.
The Rosé "Shaman" is crafted from carefully selected, hand-harvested grapes at the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The Pinot Noir, undergoing a light maceration, gives the wine its delicate onion-skin pink color and extraordinary aromatic complexity. After fermentation in wood and oak vats, the wine undergoes long aging on lees for at least 24 months, acquiring elegance and a fine, persistent bubble.
In the glass, it presents a brilliant light pink color with a creamy and persistent perlage. The aromatic bouquet bursts with red fruits, peach, pomegranate, watermelon, and citrus like bitter orange. Floral and spicy notes add elegance, with a slight minerality completing the profile. On the palate, it is enveloping and fresh, with a structure that harmoniously blends with the wine’s finesse and creaminess, offering a long, complex finish with great expression and purity.
The Rosé "Shaman" is perfect for those seeking an artisanal Champagne with a distinctive character and impeccable balance, ideal to pair with refined dishes such as raw fish, sushi, shellfish, or fresh cheeses.
